Questions before you start

Who is Affiliatops for?

SaaS companies that bill through Stripe are the main fit. Online stores and service businesses such as agencies and course creators run programs on it too. Partners join the programs those businesses run.

Do I need a developer to set it up?

Not for everything. The tracking script is one line of HTML, and connecting Stripe means pasting a webhook address into your Stripe dashboard. Service businesses can record leads and payments by hand. A developer helps if you want to send events from your own backend through the API.

How are refunds handled?

Every commission waits out a hold period you choose (30 days by default). If a refund arrives, the matching commission is cancelled or reduced. If it was already paid, the amount is deducted from the partner’s next payout.

Can partners earn recurring commission?

Yes, in SaaS and “Other” workspaces. Pay on the first payment only, for a set number of months, or for the customer’s lifetime, and optionally add a bonus for sign-ups or trials.

How are partners paid?

Affiliatops works out what each partner is owed and builds the payout list. You approve it in the app and see where each partner wants to be paid, then pay them through PayPal, Wise, bank transfer, or an e-wallet the way you do today. Affiliatops doesn’t send the money itself. Each payout gets an invoice, and partners see it as paid in their portal.

Which platforms does it work with?

Stripe for subscription billing, any website that can load a script tag (including Shopify and WooCommerce stores), and other billing systems through the server API. For businesses in Indonesia, it works in rupiah, takes manual bank-transfer payments, and connects to Midtrans and Xendit for subscription billing.

Which currencies are supported?

Plans are billed in US dollars. Each workspace tracks sales and commissions in its own currency, such as USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, or IDR.
