FAQ
Questions before you start
Who is Affiliatops for?
Businesses that grow through partners: online stores, SaaS companies, and service businesses such as agencies, consultants, and education providers. Partners join the programs those businesses run.
Do I need a developer to set it up?
Not for everything. The tracking script is one line of HTML, and connecting Stripe means pasting a webhook address into your Stripe dashboard. Service businesses can record leads and payments by hand. A developer helps if you want to send events from your own backend through the API.
How are refunds handled?
Every commission waits out a hold period you choose (30 days by default). If a refund arrives, the matching commission is cancelled or reduced. If it was already paid, the amount is deducted from the partner’s next payout.
Can partners earn recurring commission?
Yes, in SaaS and “Other” workspaces. Pay on the first payment only, for a set number of months, or for the customer’s lifetime, and optionally add a bonus for sign-ups or trials.
Which platforms does it work with?
Any website that can load a script tag, including Shopify and WooCommerce stores; Stripe for subscription billing; and other billing or CRM systems through the server API.
Which currencies are supported?
Rupiah (IDR) is the default. Each workspace can use another currency, such as USD, SGD, or MYR.
How do I get started?
Create a business workspace. We review each new workspace before it goes live, then a short setup wizard walks you through your business type, details, and commission rules.
I’m a partner. How do I join?
Register as a partner. The business running the program reviews your application, and once you’re approved your dashboard shows your referral link and earnings.
